In February 2026, Ronald Royer, along with his wife clarinetist Kaye Royer and the Odin Quartet, went on a concert tour of Spain, with concerts in the areas of Barcelona and Valencia. A highlight was performing in the city of Lliria, a Unesco World Heritage City of Music. The music of 8 Canadian composers was featured along with traditional favourites. Ronald had two clarinet quintets performed, California Coasting and his arrangement of Manuel de Falla’s Spanish Dance No. 1, from La Vida Breve. The tour was presented by Edeta Arts (Spain), organized by the Scarborough Philharmonic, and was supported by a travel grant from the Canada Council for the Arts.
